Flexr6 attended the 2012 FitX and Australian Grand Prix Bodybuilding show at the Melbourne Covention Centre on 17-18 March. Some of the best physiques on the planet were on display including Branch Warren and Erin Stern who took out the Men’s Pro Bodybuilding and Women’s Pro Figure Divisions respectively. Also competing was the current Ms Figure Olympia champion, Nicole Wilkins. Mike Kefalianos took second place to Branch which gave him an Olympia qualification. Current Mr Olympia, Phil “the gift” Heath was in attendance to meet the fans – Phil’s line was no shorter than 30 metres at anytime throughout the two days! Three time and current 202 Olympia champion, Kevin English was also there to meet the fans. Kevin was weighing in at 250lbs/114kg on the day and was as wide as he was tall!
Flexr6 also caught up with the Bioflex crew, Ben, Aaron and Christine Zadel. Christine recently placed 3rd at the Arnold Classic Amateur in the lightweight physique division – well done to Christine! Bioflex and Bulk Nutrients sponsored many events throughout the weekend and are great supporters of bodybuilding!
Once again, Tony Doherty has raised the bar to a new level with the 2012 FitX and Australian Grand Prix Bodybuilding show. I’d encourage everyone in the bodybuilding and fitness industry to attend this great event in 2013!
